The place is well situated to explore Guangzhou. It’s handy because the metro is nearby and there are plenty of food options. The gym and laundry facilities are available.

The location is actually behind the main street, in a noisy alley, but that doesn’t bother me. It’s right on the metro corner. There are many restaurants close by, but they’re all Chinese; international food is scarce. The photos aren’t current and look AI‑enhanced, but overall the value for money was fine. Breakfast offers no Western options; it’s mostly steamed vegetables and meats, plus rice and pasta for breakfast.

The building is comfortable. The staff were courteous, even though they didn’t speak English (which is normal in China); we understood each other thanks to the translator.

The site is near tourist spots. The parking entrance is comparable, but the room has no windows.

It’s within walking distance of the Pearl River and Dafo Temple. The hotel feels very authentic, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean. The staff arranged a taxi back to the airport, which was easy and cheaper than the drive from the airport where we were overcharged. Everything was great, though the public corridors were a bit tired and worn.
