The owner’s attention and the quality of the food were great, but if you have many suitcases it can be uncomfortable to carry them up the stairs.

“Brilliant !”

Our overall experience can only be summed up very simply: our stay was extremely enjoyable. Nothing was too much for our host, Mike, who went out of his way to ensure all guests had the best that could be offered. The room was clean and large, which made for a very comfortable stay. The bathroom had everything needed and the power shower was an extra bonus. Breakfast, pre‑ordered the night before, was taken in a room overlooking the loch and castle, which increased the enjoyment of the food, which was superb. We are genuinely hoping to return and sincerely thank Mike for a wonderful break and taste of Scottish hospitality! Well done and thanks Mike! Nothing could have bettered our experience; it was just such a treat to have found such a wonderful place to experience our first taste of Scotland.

“Lovely stay and great hospitality”

The location was lovely with wonderful views. Mike was a great host—friendly and attentive. Breakfast was excellent, including the Thai fried rice breakfast. Couldn’t fault it.
