“Amazingly comfortable and welcoming stay in a quieter part of Kyoto.”

The apartment was amazing, in a quieter part of Kyoto but still a short taxi ride to Gion and other spots. It was beautifully appointed, designed well, and incredibly comfortable. Rachel and her team were fantastic, providing a smooth check‑in, waiting for us when we arrived, giving great suggestions on where to go and how to get there, and were very friendly and helpful. Over and above, very much appreciated. Nothing else to complain about—great stay.

A nice Japanese villa, spacious, and the surroundings are quiet. The bathtub has a bit of mildew, probably due to the wood.

“Incroyable appartement cosy”

I can't even begin to describe how great this place was! The lady was wonderfully kind—she even spoke French 🥹—offering advice and doing everything to make sure we felt comfortable in the accommodation. There were towels, masks, the fridge stocked with drinks, a washing machine, dryer, shampoo, body wash, and plenty of other items for a morning routine. The apartment felt super cozy. I'll definitely come back! Thanks a lot.

We had a perfect stay in Kyoto; the area was lovely and the terrace house was very comfortable and well appointed. We just wish we could have stayed longer!
