Convenient to where we needed to be. Manholes in the middle of the street – if you aren’t careful you’ll burst a tire.

The room layout included a kitchen area with an electric range, sink, microwave, and a large refrigerator. The bathroom also had functional fixtures. However, the refrigerator made constant noise, the walls were paper-thin, and the bed was too small with no king-size option. Staff were not helpful; the front desk was unavailable because everyone was outside smoking and talking, showing no courtesy to other guests. The shower water was very weak, the sink drain was clogged, and there were no complimentary items in the bathroom.

“The hotel looks nice but roaches in rooms and refusal to refund money is unacceptable.”

I discovered roaches in my room and asked the staff to send someone to spray them multiple times. I extended my stay for an extra week, but had to leave earlier due to unexpected circumstances. Instead of receiving a daily rate for the two nights I actually stayed, the manager refused to refund me any money that would have been due. I paid for a week and only stayed two nights. Refusing to give a refund for services not received is unacceptable, and I will warn all the companies I work with—Kiewit, Versys, Burns & McDonnell, Enbridge, and TC—not to stay at this hotel.

“Nice reception people and nice location!”

The location was great! The floors were dirty and the hotel building smelled like a gym locker room.
