Mercure Salvador Boulevard Hotel

“Boa localização, mas quarto mal conservado, atendimento ruim e pouca segurança, não recomendo.”

The location was fine and the room was spacious, but the room was in bad condition: the mirror was dirty and rusted, the shower was fully rusted and had a water outlet issue. I asked for a replacement, yet the problem persisted. The staff service was very poor. Moreover, the hotel sits inside a residential building, so residents and apartment owners constantly circulate, giving a low sense of security. There is no hotel infrastructure.

The room was great, clean and comfy, with TV and air conditioning working flawlessly, and the shower was very hot.

The cleaning was very lacking; the room and bathroom were full of hair from previous guests.

I liked the location, the comfort and the organization of the hotel; the service was also very good, and the stay contributed to a great experience during the trip, but I have a few small complaints: for example, the internet. During our stay we could not use the provided internet.

I liked the location and the roomy room, but the breakfast was expensive—over $70 per person—and there was no parking. They also add $30 to the daily rate. The minibar had no bottled water, the bare minimum. The TV didn't work properly; I tried to watch Netflix and couldn't.
