Zhaklina and Ilia were excellent hosts, very friendly and helpful, and they shared great local knowledge. The apartment was spotlessly clean with a huge bathroom, and the garden and terrace were beautiful. It’s a 10 minute walk to the nearest lake beach and a 25 minute walk into the town of Ohrid. The area is peaceful, with a view over farmland in front and mountains in the back, and it feels very safe. To explore beyond the town and the beach you need a car, which we had, and the villa has good parking away from the busier streets. Highly recommend Villa Goriza Prestige as a great base for a holiday. There really wasn’t anything to dislike. The apartment doesn’t have a kitchen, but there’s a simple covered outdoor kitchen available for guests and a lovely terrace right by it to eat on. There’s a small supermarket within walking distance, and larger ones in town just a 5 minute drive.

The room and bathroom were big and clean. The bed in the living room wasn’t very comfortable, there’s no kitchen, so it’s best for a short stay. The street is very narrow.

The apartment is wonderful and peaceful, about a 25‑minute walk from Ohrid’s center. It’s tastefully furnished, very comfortable, and has an amazing bathroom. The owners, Zhaklina and Ilija, are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful, sharing great sightseeing tips and always ready to assist. They’re pet‑friendly and warmly welcomed our dog. We had a relaxing holiday, enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and our daily walks. The secure parking in their fenced garden kept our car safe under the watchful eye of their dog Lucky. We highly recommend this apartment for anyone seeking a quiet, comfortable stay near Ohrid. At the end of our stay the refrigerator wasn’t cooling properly, so some food spoiled. The kitchen is outside the apartment, which wasn’t ideal but we knew before booking and chose it anyway, so it wasn’t a surprise. We only used the kitchen once. The cookware could use an update; the pots and pans are worn and could be replaced.

The rented space was large. There was no way to leave between 23 and 7 am; a dog was walked on a leash on the premises. The kitchen equipment was old pots and dishes, a wine glass rack, a broken toilet, and there was no Wi‑Fi at all—see the photo.
