Hotel Legasta Kyoto Higashiyama Sanjo

The spot is super central, right next to all the sights, the staff were friendly, the breakfasts were amazing, the place was spotless, the room was roomy, and the front desk had all the tourist brochures and good tips. They made it easy to keep our luggage on the last day and even sent it to another hotel for us. Nothing to complain about!

This is a great hotel, three stars but high quality. The room is large and comfortable, with every possible amenity. The location is also excellent, outside the Gion bustle but very close to the metro and within walking distance of the center. The staff are very nice and helpful, and they speak English. The only downside is the breakfast, which could use a bit more variety.

“Recomedado pero sin desayuno!”

The location is definitely the highlight, and the decor is nice too. They even provide umbrellas for guests, which was a handy touch. The hotel feels newly renovated. The staff were friendly, though they didn't speak much English, and we didn't find anyone who spoke Spanish, even though the description says they do. I didn't like that they only clean the room once a day and don't change the towels, but that seems common in Japan. The breakfast was awful—don't count on it. They say you'll get a couple of options, but in reality you only get what they serve that day, and they even heat it in a microwave, which is odd and tastes bad.

“Molt recomenable. Hi tornariem”

Hotel modern, càlid i agradable. Instal.lacions molt cuidades. Un personal molt atent i que t’ajuda en tot moment, especialment la Sra. Kazuko Watanabe. L’aire condicionat de l’habitació feia força soroll i no vam daber com solucionar aquest tema
