The hotel was quiet at least. I didn’t see on the website that there was no elevator, and the front desk person’s English was very hard to understand. My room was cold, very humid, with damp carpet and sheets. I had to turn the heat on to try to dry it out, but then it got hot. I ended up staying on the first floor because there was no elevator, yet I didn’t feel safe. I left before breakfast and would not recommend this hotel.

The hot tub was nice and the TV had great channels. The hotel is older and the parking lot needs work.

Arriving early gets you scrambled eggs and sausage, but if you show up mid‑morning there are no muffins or donuts. The rooms were never cleaned or had their bedding changed; sometimes we received clean towels, but on Sunday we returned to find the towels and washcloths still piled by the tub. When I asked the front desk why, the staff explained that the cleaning crew had been distracted by the World Cup soccer championship and the supervisor had to leave. I requested fresh towels, and she handed my daughter a clothes basket to bring the dirty ones back.

Breakfast was mediocre; the eggs were bland and there was no pepper even after we asked. The pool was nice, clean, and most staff were friendly and responsive. The room stayed damp and smelled that way all week, and the housekeeping never made our beds. They only brought old towels and left fresh ones, yet on the last day nothing was done. When we asked, we were told the housekeeper had left because Argentina lost the soccer cup. We were told to bring down our old towels first; I had to ask for a basket because they were so wet from the previous day. The refrigerator was essentially a mini‑freezer, so our gallon of water froze overnight even though we set it to the highest temperature. The toilet didn’t flush properly; we had to hold it down all the way and it might have flushed completely—maybe.
