The staff, from the manager to the waiters, were very welcoming and I had the best time there; the food was also very good, and the location is ideal if you want to visit other beaches for activities like Mnemba and Nungwi. I liked everything!

The resort is calm and perfect for resting and recharging; every evening the menu changes and is delicious, and the staff is attentive and friendly. With the half‑board plan, the water was not included and we had to pay for it.

The décor and the beach make this spot feel both authentic and romantic, and because Sultan Sands shares a building with Blue Bay right next door I could enjoy the perks of both hotels. I especially liked that the One Ocean dive club is on‑site, which made arranging dives a breeze. The only downside was that my room wasn’t ready until the afternoon.
