It was by far the most expensive hotel on our trip, and I was unsure beforehand if it would be worth the money, but it turned out to be. The dinner buffet was a dream and the breakfast was also impressive. The two onsen baths are nice and spacious, and we enjoyed the bathtub on the balcony. A walk through the garden is a must. A useful tip: there are coin-operated washing machines. The rooms could have more storage, and we did not like the attached thermal bath (Yunessun).

The room was clean, the mattress was comfortable, and the Ryocon was great. I expected a more authentic Japanese experience.

The quiet atmosphere and the onsen area were nice. Overall, it definitely isn’t a five‑star level: breakfast and dinner were mediocre with no variety – acceptable if you only stay one night, but otherwise very monotonous. Basic items like cocoa for kids were unavailable. The rooms were very old and outdated. Family onsen could only be booked for a very high fee. The bedding was plastic, there were no hooks to hang jackets, and the value for money was a disaster, worth at most half the price compared to many other places.
