The room had a shared balcony, and the square wasn't very friendly, but the police were helpful.

The spot was great and charming, even if some might think it’s unsafe or shabby; I liked it and felt safe all the time, even though it looked a bit rundown, which added to its charm. Having three sets of keys made me feel secure, and the ground‑floor pizza joint was packed but still good. The only downside was a clogged shower that I couldn’t clear, but we did have a bidet.

The apartment was lovely, clean, and relaxing, and the pre‑arrival instructions were clear and useful. Just keep an open mind about the neighborhood—it can be off‑putting for some, but we felt safe and enjoyed the lively, less touristy vibe.
