Japanese is understood. The wallpaper feels a bit old.

The staff were very professional, yet the facilities felt outdated with peeling paint and dusty curtains. The staff were also very polite.

The area around the hotel is bustling with many restaurants and convenience stores, and a constant stream of foreign tourists; the front desk even tried to speak Japanese with me, showing they’re used to welcoming overseas guests. My room was roomy, and the old‑style toilet now had a bidet seat, which was a nice touch. However, the traditional key lock had a security chain that wasn’t properly installed, and I only noticed it on checkout when it could be easily snapped off. The bathroom felt dated, with a bathtub I was reluctant to use and no separate wet‑dry area, giving the whole place a vibe of a large hotel from the last century.

All the staff were courteous and helpful. The plumbing was poor; I could hear drainage noises from the next room throughout the night and couldn’t get any sleep.
