“Astana "best": hostel”
I managed to sleep! From arrival at the hostel, we searched long for a booking, finally found a good one. Cash payment. The VIP room is absolutely not like the photo on the site. After renovation, it’s a wreck. TV is missing. No soap or toiletries. One towel, but it’s large.

The place is in a great spot, close enough to the metro station that you can walk there. The staff were very friendly. My room was clean and comfortable, and we checked in at night, which was a big help—thanks a lot for that! No complaints.

I booked a three‑day stay and let the hostel know I’d be a bit late because of a flight to Kazakhstan, but I never heard back. When I showed up, they said no rooms were free. I even showed my reservation, yet the staff member claimed she didn’t know how I’d booked because all rooms were supposedly occupied. It was raining, it was late, and she didn’t try to help me find another place or even apologize. This was the worst hostel experience I’ve ever had.
