“Perfect”
Lovely old traditional auberge run by Mat and his team – it was wonderful. I wanted to stay longer. Nothing else to mention.

The small town and the building are beautiful. The room was clean and quiet and easy to find. We loved the downstairs coffee shop, and the communication about our arrival time and help finding a meal was great. There was plenty of parking. The sleigh bed had a comfortable mattress, but it seemed to tilt down at the head. The town itself offered little for food, so you’ll need to travel to another town for a meal.

We stayed for one night; the room was functional and clean, and there was a well-equipped shared kitchen. The check‑in felt a bit impersonal, the attached café was closed, and the side entrance was somewhat clunky.

Cozy shared space. It was very noisy.

I stayed in a tidy, cozy room that felt great to relax in, and the downstairs restaurant was charming. However, the shared kitchen lacked basic tools like a cutting board and knife, the supplies were minimal, the restaurant only operates four days a week, and the alternative option, Dixie Lee, might not appeal to everyone.
