The breakfast was very health‑focused, with no fried foods and a main dish made from Hokkaido produce, koji, and naturally grown vegetables – it was impressive.

We booked five hotels in Hokkaido, and this Sapporo park hotel sits right next to Nakajima Park; the window at breakfast offers a lovely lake view. The only drawback was that the breakfast itself was mediocre and the service was average. Parking is paid, but the hotel charges only once for check‑in to check‑out; if you drive out and return to the front desk for a stamp, the gate guard won’t charge extra. It offers good value for money, and the rooms are spacious with decent comfort.

The garden view was nice.

I’d rank this hotel as a 1 or 2 in Sapporo. It’s been around since the Showa era and has a noticeable presence. The on‑site restaurant is pricey and not very accessible.

The city location is great, with a view overlooking the park.
