“Lovely place and I will stay here again”
The place was gorgeous and spotless, but I never ran into any staff. Not a big deal, just wish someone had said hello when I walked in.

The style, comfort, cleanliness, and location were all top notch. The only downside was the fully electronic check‑in and check‑out—no human touch at all.

The Capulet Room was huge, with a comfy bed, extra space for reading, and huge floor‑to‑ceiling windows. The décor was a sweet mix of antiques and modern flair, and my daughter loved the treat basket. Ben was a great guide, pointing out the jail and even letting my daughter dress up as a judge at the courthouse. Everything else at the Montague Rose was perfect—highly recommend this lovingly cared‑for home for anyone visiting St Andrews.

Warm welcome and stunning décor in a 19th‑century building. The location is close to town, yet the spot is quiet and has plenty of parking. Rooms had all the modern comforts—quiet air‑con, smart TV, coffee maker—plus period touches that made it feel special.

Great spot near town, room was clean and updated with a comfy bed and pillows. The public areas were nicely decorated. However, the old wiring left us without sockets, and the charging mats were unreliable. Wi‑Fi didn’t work at all, and we didn’t see any staff until someone was cleaning a bathroom right before we left. No sign of breakfast being offered either.
