Kazanvil

“hormis le problème de clé à l'entrée de l'immeuble, tout était ok sauf fonctionnement du four”

The entry key for the building had been taken by another tenant, and because that key was taken by someone else I couldn’t get the oven to work – either it doesn’t work or the manual is missing.

Check‑in and check‑out were very simple, we weren’t disturbed, and for a single night it was perfect.

“Ça vaut le détour”

The room was large enough to fit a small bathroom and toilet. One could have imagined adding a fridge and TV. Only one kitchen for six people, which isn’t ideal. On the phone I spoke to a nice woman who helped me with the key access. Later I saw an unpleasant man on his computer who didn’t say hello. The lack of courtesy made me think he didn’t understand French. Aside from that, I recommend the place. It’s in the city centre and well equipped. The lockboxes were hard to open, the induction stove didn’t work well, there was no space for me in the shared fridge. One could have put fridges in the rooms because we don’t want to risk food safety in a shared space with strangers.

Great location in St Denis, everything is nearby. Parking spots on the street are scarce, but the parking fee is cheap. There were loud screams and laughter for a rum‑coke drink at 10:00 am on the last day, which I didn’t find cool.

“Pas mal. Je ne savais pas qu'on pouvait prendre le petit déjeuner. Je n'avais pas cette information.”

At first I never got to meet any service staff to chat. What I often heard was the washing machine noise. Kazanvil is close to the bus lines. In the evening, noise came from a nearby bar until closing. I met a service person on my last departure day, and I think it was because I had the wrong date for leaving the room. Nothing can be perfect, but I will probably come back. Thanks.
