I was left feeling frustrated and disappointed when I discovered that the hotel was closed for refurbishment, and the booking website had taken my money just a week prior to my stay. This meant that my family and I had to waste two hours searching for an alternative hotel. Needless to say, this was not the relaxing getaway we had been looking forward to.

While our evening meal at the hotel was a highlight, with a delicious steak night that exceeded our expectations, our stay was slightly marred by a chilly bedroom. Despite this, the quality of the food made up for the minor inconvenience.

Our stay at this hotel was truly exceptional, thanks to the warm hospitality of the property manager and her staff. They went above and beyond to ensure that we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay, and the nearby attractions were easily accessible on foot. The food was also a highlight, particularly the mouth-watering pepperoni pizza. However, we did notice that the bathroom and room could benefit from some renovation.
