The accommodation had a clean feel, the food was tasty, the view from inside was wonderful, and it was close to city attractions – no particular complaints.

It was nice to have chicken rice for breakfast, but it would have been better if the large bath stayed open a bit later.

The seaside location was lovely; at night it was pitch black so I couldn't see, but from the room window I could see the magnificent view of Sakurajima, and a short walk after breakfast felt nice. Breakfast had few items, but the local dish Amami chicken rice was very tasty and satisfying. I was late, so nearby restaurants were closed, I missed the free night‑time soba service, and had a lonely convenience store meal. Since it looked like a resort, it would be nice to have restaurants open a bit later, and also to open the large bath later at night – it closes early so I could only use it a little the next morning.
