I wish I had stayed longer! The hotel was built in a colonial style with lovely gardens and spacious rooms that are well maintained. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and they provided a heater for the colder nights. The staff were extremely friendly and made my stay as comfortable as possible. They tailored meals to my requests and always checked if I needed more food or drinks. I would highly recommend this place.

The host was amazing! He offered us tea and coffee throughout our stay, free of charge, and we also received some excellent cookies with our tea. When I mentioned that my husband loved them, he brought us another pack. The host was definitely the highlight of our visit. The food was really good, especially the à la carte dinner, and we enjoyed the breakfast as well. It was nice that it wasn’t a buffet but a fresh breakfast we could choose the night before. The garden was absolutely beautiful too. The sheets had some old stains, but that’s not unusual for hotels on the island.

I had a truly lovely stay at the Royal Cocoon. The property exudes charm and character, and the whole place feels peaceful, cozy, and perfectly suited to the cool hill-country weather. The staff were super kind, welcoming, and very helpful throughout my stay. A special shout‑out to Raminda for her attentiveness, hospitality, and extra care for my comfort as a solo traveler. The location is convenient and close to town.

Raminda is a fantastic host. We ate very well. The garden offers a nice place to relax. The location is great, only 20 minutes on foot to the bus station, and still very quiet (until 7:30 am, when parents bring their children to school right next to the hotel). Overall, excellent value for money. The hotel has a bit of patina, and the hot and cold water regulation in the bathroom is adventurous.
