Gangwon-do is such a beautiful area, surrounded by mountains and lush greenery. The fresh air and peaceful scenery made it really nice to walk around and enjoy the outdoors. For a wellness-focused hotel, I found it too crowded. The pool and spa were very busy, and even at breakfast, we had to wait for a table. This made it difficult to fully relax and enjoy the wellness experience

The hotel was brand new, and the room was beautiful with a stunning mountain view. There isn’t much to do around the hotel, so I think this is really a place to come if you want to relax, slow down, and rest. The resort itself offers several activities, including frisbee, badminton, ping-pong, indoor activities, a fire-gazing seating area, and a music room. Since the hotel promotes itself around wellness, I was expecting more yoga and wellness activities. Unfortunately, many of them were not available during my stay. There were only two yoga classes in the morning, and they were quite packed, probably because it was a long holiday weekend. The teacher was good, though, and I enjoyed the class. One thing I found a little disappointing was that you need to book almost everything in advance. Considering the price of the rooms, I would have preferred a more effortless and relaxing experience rather than having to plan and reserve every activity

The complimentary health programmes, breakfast and sauna were all outstanding.

The breakfast buffet was excellent—fresh, healthy dishes with plenty of fruit—but the coffee could have been better.
