“A comfortable home base for exploring Valladolid and Ek Balam.”

We enjoyed a lovely stay at this charming boutique hotel on the outskirts of Valladolid, just a mile from the city center and conveniently close to the ring road for an inexpensive taxi ride. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially the bartender and Yumiko, who organized our transfers from Tulum to Valladolid and then to Mérida, and also offered a useful laundry service. The two pools were refreshing and relaxing, and the rooms were very comfortable and luxurious; we also appreciated the snacks and welcome drinks. The only downside was the three‑page rules document we had to sign upon arrival, which we weren’t given a copy of to refer to—mostly covering who can enter the room, how to signal for cleaning, towel handling, and penalties for towel theft. It felt a bit punitive and unwelcoming; a brief verbal tour might have been more inviting. Other than that, everything was wonderful and we would recommend it.

We really liked this hotel! It surpassed our expectations. The staff were very courteous and helped with every question, even towed our car and parked it for us. The upper and lower pools were open until 23:00, which was nice. We were lucky that the hotel wasn’t crowded, giving us a feeling of being alone. A big supermarket is a minute’s walk away, and there were no mosquitoes on the property or in the room. The restaurant at the hotel is wonderful.

“Lovely spot of calmness”

A beautiful boutique hotel that feels like a calm spot amid the jungle. The small pool is great for relaxing after a day exploring Chichiniza or the local cenotes. The room was lovely and the staff were friendly. However, there was no coffee in the room, the towels were threadbare and needed to be thrown in the bin, and there was a stain on the bedsheet.

“Un oasis en Valladolid”

The facilities are amazing and the service is excellent. Ángel was very attentive to everything we needed. The place is ideal for disconnecting. Nothing was lacking; everything was great!

“Muy bien”

A very pretty hotel with very few guests. The location is good, close to the city and 30 minutes from Chichenitza. The staff are very friendly, breakfast is very good with many options to choose from, and everything is very clean. They have two pools: hot and cold water. Everything is very good, and there were iguanas and turtles at the hotel :)
