The hotel's location was superb, but unfortunately, my experience was somewhat marred by a couple of issues.
The staff were friendly and welcoming, which was a definite plus.

Everything was fine, except the restaurant.

We were told that the booked suite and view room had to be cancelled because of a system error and were downgraded to a standard room.

The staff were very friendly and the service exceptional.

The spa should offer guests a reservation right upon arrival and suggest massages or treatments if possible.

The hotel is very beautiful, blending a historic house with a modern building designed by a renowned architect. The room and hotel equipment are perfect—comfortable, discreet and effective air‑conditioning, lighting, etc. The spa is nice and the therapists are very skilled. The staff and service are not up to the level of a 5‑star hotel for the price paid. The breakfast was rushed: scrambled eggs were too salty, pancakes weren’t fresh, etc., for €34 per person.
