Breakfast was outstanding, especially the homemade granola, and the spot was right in the middle of Uppingham, a charming town that made it easy to reach Rutland Water; there were plenty of local eateries, though on the Monday we stayed a few were closed. The room felt cramped but super comfy, with a great shower, a cozy bed, and tea and coffee making facilities.

The breakfast was first‑class in a lovely setting, and Debbie’s homemade granola was exceptional.

The spot was perfect, close to town, and Debbie was a wonderful hostess who added nice touches; her home was elegant and tasteful, which showed in our room. The garden was a peaceful retreat, and breakfast was fresh and exceptional. The only issue was parking, but that was out of our control.
