“Overall ok”

The room and bathroom were roomy and comfy, and breakfast was tasty with plenty of options. The winery staff were friendly and professional. However, reception booked us for two wine tastings with the same sommelier on the same day, claiming it was a lunch, an optional tasting, and a dinner; if wine isn’t your thing, don’t rely on the reception for meal plans, as this seems to happen often. The vineyard staff mentioned a separate restaurant in town that might have suited our needs better.

It’s just down the street from the winery, and the tour was part of our booking. The price was steep, and the pool felt more like a wading pool than a proper swimming area.

“It was a great experience and such lovely views from the hotel and winery”

Breakfast was delicious, especially the scrambled eggs with the traditional Italian spread. The hotel itself was lovely, and the staff were very friendly. I’d stay here again if I return to the area. The wine tasting was outstanding; my son, who usually doesn’t drink wine, developed an appreciation for it afterward. We requested a driver to shuttle us to and from San Gimignano, and he arrived right on time for pickup. There was nothing I didn’t like; our stay was wonderful and I have no complaints.

“Great location, guest services can definitely be improved.”

Breakfast on the terrace is excellent, and the staff are great with good food. I’ve been trying to get an invoice for services paid for a month now; emails and phone contacts are useless, even if you speak Italian.
