Bon Bed & Breakfast

The place was quiet and well equipped with a fridge, kettle, TV, and Netflix, and the room was spacious. However, finding it was a bit tricky because it’s just another house among many; you have to look hard for the number and the small plaque that shows the name. The neighbourhood is residential, so shops and the metro are 5‑10 minutes away, which is nice for peace and quiet but a slight inconvenience if you need to walk a bit to eat or do other errands.

The property is listed as a bed and breakfast, yet when we arrived the host told us breakfast was not included; he also mentioned that he had no food on hand because we hadn’t ordered it beforehand, despite having told us about this earlier. The narrow, steep stairs made it hard to bring luggage up, and the host’s claim of a “good bed and breakfast” was misleading since breakfast was the main reason I booked. At least there was a kettle in the room.

“Underwhelming room hosted by an unstable man”

The place is decent, close to the Noord stop and in a quiet area outside the city center, and they provided tea and a kettle. I was woken twice at 6 am by the host yelling at his wife for about 15 minutes each time; I decided it wasn't my business and used headphones, keeping my time in the house minimal. After checking out, I texted him about a possible gift for my brother that might have been left in the apartment, but he dodged the question and instead accused me of being a “drug addict” who left a “pink pill” under a chair I supposedly “destroyed” in the room—completely baffling and unprofessional.
