“Excellent gem in Almaty”

This was such a gem! I’m so happy I found this hotel among the many options and it turned out way better than even the brand-name hotels. The room is very tastefully designed, modern with a Kazakh twist. Super clean, very thoughtful with the furnishings. Location was easy to find (it appears as Ethno Hotel on Yandex though but the direction is correct). The breakfast was very smart I thought. It is a set menu and you choose what you want, so it’s all freshly made to order plus minimal food wastage. I don’t understand why some reviews said a buffet would be better. I ordered the Shashuka and it was so healthy and fresh. Best of all, the staff were all excellent - none of the cold transactional type, everyone was smiley and helpful. I wish this business all the best!. Having a hairdryer in the room would be great. And maybe a few more pillows

“Everything fine”

I was spotless, the staff were helpful, and the breakfast was homemade; I only stayed 6 hours, so nothing else to add.
