“Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!”

Located in the heart of Aarau, the house is old but excellently and tastefully renovated, with subtle colours, bright and friendly. Many well-thought-out details. The breakfast buffet was great, small but with everything important and very good. We returned very late from a concert and were still a bit hungry. The restaurant was closed, but the friendly man at the reception arranged some food for us, which was very nice and much appreciated.

The location was brilliant, the staff were absolutely lovely, and the room was incredible for the price, making it great value for money.

“Gutes Restaurant, Hotel war enttäuschend”

The dinner in the restaurant was delicious, and the staff member was friendly and professional—she would be great as training staff for the hotel. On the flip side, the check‑in staff were unprofessional, the lift was dirty, the toilet was broken, the room was too warm, and the windows couldn’t be opened because of street noise. There was no minibar, and not even a bottle of water in the room (despite the great tap water). The breakfast buffet was neat, with green/blue pre‑made scrambled eggs, but when they were cleared away they weren’t replaced—an attempt that fell flat.
