The staff were very friendly and flexible despite the selected hotel; the rooms were very nice and the atmosphere great.

The resort is really lovely, the staff are friendly and the rooms look great; I wish I could have tried the wellness area, which seemed impressive, but I ran out of time. The single room was a bit cramped and windowless for structural reasons, though it was nicely decorated and I made the best of it.

I was given a room with a broken window; when I asked about it they admitted the issue was already known yet they still handed the room over even though there was no occupancy problem.

The hotel sits in a nice spot outside Giessen right at the forest edge and the room was pleasant, but the whole complex feels geared toward large events like birthdays and corporate parties, which makes it unsuitable for older guests. I was placed in a third‑floor room with no elevator, only a steep, dimly lit concrete stairway, and that lack of lift was never mentioned. No one helped with my luggage, and I wasn’t told that I’d have to walk 150 m from the parking area to the hotel; there’s no designated drop‑off spot, especially problematic when a celebration is underway. Communication is poor and staff never ask about guest needs. Rooms are only cleaned on explicit request, with towel changes only if they’re left on the floor, supposedly for environmental reasons, but it feels more like understaffing or cost‑cutting. Bottom line: if you need a bed after a party, this place works; otherwise, probably not.
