Fantastic atmosphere of the place. Beautiful view from the terrace! Lots of bathrooms, well equipped. Fantastic staff. The bed is uncomfortable, the mattress is already very worn out. There is no small lamp, so the bright ceiling lamp doesn't shine at night. There is no chair at all, which is a problem with the assigned upper bed.

Josephine was absolutely amazing, the hostel itself could use updating and a new downstairs shower curtain and new tiles, but the staff was amazing!

Super location, very friendly and helpful owner, check‑in was hassle‑free. Low beds, you can't sit on the lower one.

I stayed at this hostel and found it extremely dirty and poorly maintained. The level of cleanliness was disappointing; I’ve been to many basic, inexpensive hostels, but this was by far the dirtiest. The interior photos I attached show the mess. The facilities are old and clearly not well kept, with many items that could be easily cleaned, repaired, or refreshed. At times there was a strong unpleasant smell in the bathroom and corridor, worsening the experience. I politely raised my concerns with the manager, who was courteous and arranged some additional cleaning, but it was still largely superficial. The discomfort was too much, so I decided to leave. I didn’t ask for a refund for nights already stayed; I only requested a refund for future nights I would no longer use. They offered a maximum of 60% of the price, after the Booking commission was deducted, which was extremely disappointing, especially since the hostel was quite empty in mid‑September. I wanted a fair refund for accommodation I wouldn’t use because the hygiene was unacceptable. A low price should not excuse inadequate hygiene; basic cleanliness and proper hygiene are essential for guests’ health.
