The hostel’s vibe, the helpful host Lala, and the location made the stay worth every rupee; no other place in Galle offers such a competitive price. The bathroom could use a bit more cleaning, and adding another toilet would help; there’s also no CCTV system, but otherwise there were hardly any downsides.

The atmosphere was super relaxed, the family very friendly, and the value unbeatable; the beach is just across the street. The cabin could have been a touch cleaner.

The cabins were very pretty and the communal area with sofas was very comfortable. The location isn’t ideal, being right next to the road.
