The Rosslyn Central Park Hotel Sofia is situated on Vitosha Boulevard, a trendy pedestrian street lined with cafes, restaurants, shops, and boutiques. The hotel offers spacious rooms with free WiFi, coffee and tea facilities, 55" TVs with Netflix, and individually controlled air conditioning. Superior rooms feature city and park views, and bathrooms come with luxury amenities. A rich breakfast is served in the floodlit restaurant or as room service.

We had a spacious, clean room with a view of the NDK; the hotel staff were friendly, efficient, and spoke excellent English. The location is great for public transport with a tram stop right outside. However, reaching the main tourist sites requires a 20‑minute walk across the park and through the pedestrianised shopping area, and the restaurants around the hotel had poor English (or any of the other languages I speak); you can get by with Google and hand gestures.

The location was 10/10, breakfast 8/10, but the buffet was never hot enough, though it offered a good selection.
