“Perfect for overnight near airport”

We needed an overnight stay near the airport. The room was clean and comfortable, lovely old Balinese style. Friendly staff and great coffee. If you have mobility issues, ask for a downstairs room because there’s no lift.

The place was spotless and cozy, but the pool area was tiny, and there were no outdoor seats for the top villas to relax or chat with friends; the staff were always there watching. The property itself was very small.

We chose Sahara Mirage because it’s close to the airport, and we were worried about noise but that turned out not to be an issue. The location was super quiet, just a few minutes’ walk from the main road toward the beach. They also have a good spa, and the full body massage was wonderful. We ate there the first night and the food was great. The staff were very friendly. We found it a nice spot to “land” on Bali first. We’d recommend everyone stay here! The only thing to note is that we had to get used to going outside to the toilet.

The hotel’s location could not be better – just a short walk from the airport yet surprisingly quiet, only a few steps from the beach, the shopping street and plenty of restaurants. The staff were genuinely friendly and even helped us arrange taxis and transfers. We returned twice because the price‑performance ratio for a party of four was simply unbeatable. The only drawback was that the bunk bed wasn’t as comfortable as the large double bed, though it didn’t really bother us.
