Trim Castle Hotel, on Castle Street, offers stunning views of Trim Castle in the Boyne Valley. Luxurious rooms have large windows, flat-screen TVs, and some have balconies. The hotel features three exceptional eateries, a Rooftop Garden Terrace with panoramic views, and is close to shops, cafés, and The Trim Aura Leisure Center with a 25m pool and gym, 40 minutes from Dublin airport.

The spot was great, right in front of the castle and within walking distance of several restaurants; the staff were friendly and the beds were comfy. The room was a good size and came with a fan, and breakfast was solid. Remember to register your car at reception to get free parking. The only downside was the bar on the first floor, which felt utterly soulless and lacked any vibe.

The location was excellent and the hotel seemed promising. Unfortunately, the bar was under renovation so there was nowhere to sit for a drink, the restaurant felt soulless and the staff were poor, and breakfast was only average.
