I stayed in a cozy spot just above the canal, where we could enjoy great grilled fish and take a boat ride.
“une nuit d'enfer chaleur ,endroit exigu , lumière extérieur pas de rideaux aux fenêtres et ...”
We left between 7 am and 7:30 am; the restaurant we’d eaten at the night before was closed, so we couldn’t judge its service and had to have lunch at the nearby bakery. This place isn’t a room at all – even if some try to hide behind the 9 m² rule, warn your guests that they’ll be stuck between two walls. The photo on the booking site doesn’t match the room we were given.
“Content de notre séjour excepté le stationnent.”
The city, its restaurants, and the boat walk were great. No one was there to greet us during our stay, so we didn’t receive the parking ticket as promised, especially after speaking with the lady on the phone.
“Séjour a chanaz”
Everything was nice.
We liked the location and the charm of the room with its décor, antique furniture, and warm atmosphere. The terrace was quiet except for the occasional machine noise like heating. Two pillows were too thick and hard, making them uncomfortable. The bathroom door squeaked loudly, waking the person sleeping in the same room. The front desk explained everything in emails, but when we needed direct contact—by phone or in person—there was a sense of stress and we felt we were bothering them. When we went for a drink at their restaurant and asked when we had to leave the room the next day, we got an answer but they never asked if we were doing well or had a good night. The same happened when I went to get the parking ticket in the morning; I felt like a nuisance. Otherwise, they are available when we call or will call back as soon as possible.
