Excellent welcome here, a small hotel/hostel that’s very charming, people who go the extra mile to make the stay pleasant. The bar and restaurant are very friendly. Even though everything was charming, there might have been a bit of a cleanliness issue (the baby collects everything, that’s when you notice it).

The location right on the Jakobsweg was perfect, and the owner welcomed us with a warm smile, went out of her way to help, and met every request we had. On the first evening we were treated to a superb regional dinner without even ordering in advance. The breakfast was very local, delicious, and generous—coffee, tea, a variety of jams, sausages, cheeses, and more. The room and bathroom had been fairly recently renovated. What felt a bit odd to us was showering in the bathtub, but that was clearly stated in the booking since the rooms were advertised with a bathtub, so it isn’t a complaint, just an observation that it’s not our usual way.

The location was decent. Ants were on the indoor breakfast table. The value for money compared to other accommodations on this trip was poor.
