I stayed at Hotel Bliss nearby, and the room with a terrace was very nice; the pool was also a great bonus.

The room was clean, spacious, and modern, and the plunge pool right outside was great for the kids; the staff were helpful. The location and the Russian influence in the area weren’t to our taste, but the actual place was fine.

We had booked a dormitory with two beds, but when we arrived in the evening we saw that only one bed was left in our room.

I had an excellent room with a balcony and sea view, and I didn’t have to pay extra for it. The large shower room was impressive, and there were no hot‑water interruptions, which was a relief since that’s common in Vietnam. Daily housekeeping, towel, and linen changes were provided. After 22:00 there was no one at reception, so urgent issues would have to wait until morning; it would be helpful to leave a phone number for emergencies.
