The room was clean, but the continental breakfast felt more like a complimentary assortment of cereals, yogurt, apples, tea, coffee and milk, very budget‑oriented; it might be better to find a town spot that offers breakfast.

The hotel was lovely and we enjoyed our stay; the only thing I’d change is the breakfast, which offered limited options for my friend with a dairy intolerance, but otherwise the hotel and location were great.

The room was nice and spacious, right next to the car park, but the breakfast was just cereals, cheap sugary yogurts, cheap cakey pastries and apples, with no milk, almost no tea, and we had to buy our own tea, milk and bananas; there was no soap in the hand dispenser, check‑in was unfriendly, and ordering food or drinks at the bar was also rude. The room was far too hot, windows barely opened, blinds blocked airflow, so we had to sleep with the blinds open onto the beer garden, car park and main road—no privacy or ventilation, and a fan is needed. I’m not sure if we were just unlucky, but I don’t understand why you’d pay over £100 per night for a self‑catering room that lacks the basics.

The hotel was spotless and well kept, making it a wonderful spot to relax over the weekend. No complaints at all.
