“Klein und gemütlich”
The hotel feels pleasantly small and modern inside, more so than its exterior suggests, and the staff are friendly and very attentive to guests; the breakfast buffet is sustainably stocked, not overloaded, and everything is fresh and available as you’d wish, so I’ll return. However, parking in Steinheim is reserved for residents, and the hotel’s designated spots are few, tucked into the courtyard and suited for drivers who can handle their car 100 % – even when parking is scarce, the staff try to make it work.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms were spacious with good beds, the breakfast was excellent, and it was close to the town centre with a large bike rack, but we were assigned a room on a heavily trafficked main street; sleeping with the windows open was almost impossible, and the relentless traffic noise from trucks, cars, and motorcycles persisted deep into the night and started again early in the morning.
