“Great guest house, really good value for money!”
Steve, the owner, left fresh milk and jam in the fridge, which is a real treat when you’re staying just a few days and don’t want to shop. You also get tea, coffee, sugar, milk, etc., a nice touch. The flat was bright with sea views, and the kitchen was well equipped even though we didn’t cook. Our friends stayed at a nearby hotel and, aside from a free breakfast, paid twice as much for an outdated, dingy room compared to what we got—a whole flat at Duport Guest House. The only issue was that the kitchen utensils, plates, and glasses were a bit dirty; they hadn’t been properly washed after previous guests, leaving lip marks on the glasses and bits of dried food on the cutlery. Other than that, no major problems with the property.
