The place was beautiful, staff were extremely attentive and friendly, the room was very comfortable, and breakfast was delicious! The location was great with excellent access via ride‑share drivers.

It’s a gorgeous vineyard in a great location with a lovely terrace overlooking the lake, a spacious modern room with terrace, secure parking, and very friendly staff. The food at the restaurant and breakfast were delicious. The downside was that the animals are very active and loud at night (crickets, etc.) and you can hear them through the windows, which are rather sound‑proof. But that wasn’t a big problem for us.

We spent a couple of nights at Asara Wine Estate and it was exactly what we needed. The view of the vineyards, lake and mountains from our private balcony was gorgeous, and the whole vibe is super peaceful and relaxing. The room was very clean and the pillow option was a welcome surprise. The underfloor heating and heated towel racks are simply premium on cold mornings. We also received a complimentary bottle of wine, a birthday surprise, and they leave you cute little treats during turndown. Breakfast was exceptional. Great food, beautiful grounds to stroll around (which we highly recommend) and amazing wine—definitely a fantastic little Stellenbosch getaway. Can't wait to go back!

Beautiful location. Stunning big comfortable rooms and bed linen. Very clean. There were guests at the hotel especially in the restaurant that were incredibly loud. Feel like the staff could have just asked them to keep it down and be mindful of other guests
