The location near the train station made it easy to catch connections to the airport. Ricardo’s welcome was very professional and competent. The hotel is a bit old; the window didn’t close properly, but given the price, we can’t expect everything.

The place was very clean and the room was large, and although the building looks very old (don’t expect an elevator), the rooms have been renovated. It’s a little confusing to find the place.

The spot was close enough that the slight darkness at night didn’t stop us from enjoying Rome all day. Finding it was easy, contrary to what some say (if they think it’s hard, maybe they don’t use the metro). The soundproofing isn’t great, so light sleepers might notice, but after a full day of walking around Rome you’re exhausted anyway. I have nothing to complain about.
