Getting around Rotterdam was a breeze thanks to the hotel’s proximity to public transport, making it easy to hop on a bus or tram to explore the city. My room was tidy, equipped with a refrigerator and coffee maker, and the staff were generally friendly and helpful. However, breakfast was not included in the rate, and at 17 euro I felt it was a bit pricey.

The room was large, spacious, very quiet, and well equipped; there was even an elevator! The location was central, just a few minutes from the Museumspark, and the city centre was easy to reach.

The location was in a part of Rotterdam that was unfamiliar to us, and we were greeted with a very friendly reception. Parking was a problem: either along a very busy road or on the hotel’s back lot with a narrow entrance, and the price was steep.

The hotel itself is decent, but parking costs 35 euros a night even though I’m a blue‑badge holder entitled to free parking; they refused to grant me free parking and told me to park in the bay outside. The trouble is that, as I mentioned last time, my car was broken into when I parked there, so I had to move a lot of luggage into the room because 35 euros is ridiculous.
