From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect: the incredible design and decoration, the breathtaking location, the attention to detail, the food, and above all, the people. The entire team is warm, professional, genuinely welcoming and always ready to go the extra mile to make your stay unforgettable. A special mention to the Managing Partner, whose presence and personal touch make such a difference. You can feel the passion for the hotel in every detail. The accommodation is spectacular. Our bungalow right on the beach was simply magical, with its private jacuzzi, incredible views and the most amazing sunsets and sunrises. Waking up surrounded by nature, with the sea just in front of you, is an experience in itself. The food deserves a special mention too: beautifully prepared, fresh, varied and delicious, with the setting making every meal even more special. And then there is the location — Pemba Island, away from everything, surrounded by turquoise water, nature and absolute tranquillity. It feels like a true hidden paradise. We have stayed in many wonderful hotels around the world, but Fundu Lagoon is in a league of its own. For us, it is the best hotel in Zanzibar, without any doubt. An unforgettable experience.
