Everything was fine except the net at the bed, which needs washing; breakfast should include tea/coffee instead of just fruit, like other hotels do.

Very affordable, but the location, the great staff, and the pleasant rooms were all lacking.

The staff were exceptional from the moment we arrived until we left.

The spot sits right by the lake and the view is pretty. The staff, including the owner, were wonderful and the place itself is a charming little property. I stayed for 2 weeks and they looked after me, swapping my mattress, fixing other issues, and checking in regularly. They serve a hearty breakfast every day and have a small restaurant for other meals. The price for the stay was great. The downside is that it’s close to Jinja Port, so trucks pass by a lot, bringing a bit of noise and extra dust. The owner is trying to negotiate set traffic hours with the authorities. Across the road there’s a club that opens a few nights a week, so weekend nights can get loud music late depending on the event. It’s a minor inconvenience that’s common around the city on most weekends, no matter where you stay.
