We’re asking for a refund because the hotel was padlocked; when we called, the proprietor said he’d sold the hotel on March 26 and was now living in France. Apparently he told you this so the hotel could be taken down.

I paid for this property but the host said there was no room available; my money disappeared, no refund was offered because the host claimed it had already been paid. I tried contacting the host through multiple channels with no response—be careful if you book here; you might pay for nothing.

The location and personal welcome and catering, plus the beautifully maintained garden, make the property a picturesque gem; it was quite fresh, especially at breakfast.

A historic house set in the Wicklow mountains, stunning and unique. The host was relaxed and accommodating. The only drawback was the shared bathroom, which is understandable for a property of this age.
