I chose this spot because the setting matters, and it delivered: a tastefully decorated house with hand‑painted landscape art, morning birdsong, and a country vibe. The night market and bus stop are only a 5‑minute walk away, and the nearby small beach is a 15‑minute stroll. The owners and staff are very friendly, and chatting with them is a pleasure; knowing Chinese helps, but translators are available. The only hiccup was that communication goes through the Line app, which can feel awkward for foreigners until you download it and add their ID.

The room had a large bathtub, and soaking in it was really comfortable.

The stay was overall very pleasant. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. I especially appreciated the extra coffee provided every morning. The location was perfect: quiet and relaxed, yet still close to the center.
