“Really great hidden gem”

I loved how big the rooms were and the shower/bathroom. Breakfast had good options, and the hotel’s location was great. It’s not in downtown Chongqing but in a nearby suburb, only a 10‑minute taxi ride into town each day, and 10 minutes to the zoo. Taxis are cheap—about $5 each for a Canadian. I appreciated the relaxed suburb vibe; everything I needed was right downstairs. The only downside was construction in the area that caused the whole neighborhood to lose water for over 24 hours; not the hotel’s fault, but it was shocking and I wasn’t sure whether to mention it.

Very pretty and clean, good location near a shopping center. Friendly staff. Breakfast could be better, more variety for all tastes.

The place is right by the metro and the room was huge, cozy, and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was fantastic, offering both Chinese and international options. The only thing that could use a tweak is the signage to locate the hotel; we spent a bit of time finding it the first time because it sits above a shopping mall complex.
