The B&B was very comfortable and quiet, with a fridge in the room—a real bonus for short stays. Ivanka was a wonderful host, always attentive to questions or requests. Breakfast mainly offered sweet items and some savory options like cured meats and cheese, all fresh and tasty. The location is ideal for visiting the Vatican or catching a bus to the rest of the city; you can even pay directly on the bus with a credit card, no need to buy a ticket first. The TV was broken, we reported it but it wasn’t fixed during our two nights, which wasn’t a big deal.

Walking 15 minutes from the Vatican, I found a set of apartments with a shared kitchen where the gracious host cooked breakfast each morning. The building has a common corridor and 4–5 separate guest rooms, a layout I really liked. My room was cozy, equipped with a small fridge and an air‑conditioner that handled the heat perfectly, plus a private toilet and shower. A balcony with a table and two chairs let us enjoy Italian beer every evening. The train I took to Rome was delayed by 3.5 hours, so I missed the originally agreed arrival time, but the host’s pre‑sent text and video instructions made check‑in smooth. Breakfast was superb, especially the tuna sandwiches, and the host always answered questions and happily gave local recommendations. We rented a scooter and could park it for free right by the building. The room was cleaned daily, which added to the comfort. The only drawback was that when you leave, the outlets automatically shut off, so you can’t leave devices charging, though there are enough sockets to charge all your gadgets overnight.
