The access was excellent, right in front of the bus terminal. I tried to drop off my luggage before check‑in time, but the staff said I could still check in and guided me to my room. I rested a bit and then headed out into the town of Kusatsu. The bath had only two washbasins, but I could relax without having to share with other guests. Breakfast was also very tasty. Even though I only booked a room, the breakfast included made the price feel very reasonable, and I was able to enjoy my trip to Kusatsu fully. The air purifier was there and I wanted to humidify, but I couldn’t fill the tank from the sink tap in the washroom, so I had to use a cup, which was a hassle. The washroom cup was plastic and felt a bit flimsy, which was disappointing.

The ryokan sits just in front of the station, above Lawson. It’s very comfortable, and the facilities match the description. Breakfast is excellent, and the baths accept tattoos. I recommend this place without hesitation!

A very nice, small hotel right across from the bus station. It’s a short walk to Yubatake and has a small but pleasant onsen.

At check‑in, a female staff member was very pleasant and gave a courteous explanation, leaving a good impression. In the room, however, the bed on the TV side had a wooden fence that prevented me from watching TV while lying down; I wondered if the fence was necessary.
